2008-2009
Student - The Open University (biology, history, and philosophy components)

Freelance work includes scientific illustration and consultancy work for the Discovery Channel's "Sky Monsters" documentary, and interactive multimedia exhibitions for the Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo, Japan.

2005 - 2008
Freelance Multi-Media Designer and Web Developer - London, UK

Recent commissions include editing and design work, and web development for Widei Films post-production studio, website development and design for Blueberry Creative Consultants, and book cover for "Catkin" (Faber and Faber, 2007).

2004 - 2005
Palaeoartist and Fabrication Technician - Hall Train Studios - Toronto, ON

Mechanical design, machining, cosmetic work and palaeontological consulting on a mechanical walking scale-model Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton for Hall Train Studios under contract to the American Museum of Natural History.

Palaeontological research and sculpting of a life-sized musculature model of Anhanguera piscator for Hall Train Studios under contract to the Stanford-National Geographic Pterosaur Replica Project.

Cosmetic work on mammals for Hall Train Studios under contract to the Canadian Museum of Nature.

2003 - 2004

Palaeontological consultant, artist, and website development for the Stanford-National Geographic Pterosaur Project.

Scientific illustration for a series of presentations on pterosaur flight and aerodynamics given at palaeontological and aerodynamics conferences in Australia and the United States.

1999-2000 - Group exhibition of fine art at the Soho Gallery, Woolloomooloo, Sydney.

1998 - Group exhibition of fine art at the Soho Gallery, Woolloomooloo, Sydney.

1995 - Solo exhibition of paleontological art at the National Dinosaur Museum, Canberra.

Software and Web Development Skills

I am comfortable on both Windows and Macintosh operating systems, and am proficient with the following software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe AfterEffects, Corel Painter, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, and Adobe Flash.

In addition, I have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Quark Express, and Final Cut Pro.

I am experienced in web development languages and technologies including XML, (X)HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP and SQL.
